Budee Camp Meeting July 30th, 2011

Adam, Alex, Bronwyn, Abram, Jackie, Ashley . Along with nine kids under the
age of 10, 4 guests and 8 dogs! FOUR GENERATIONS ALL AT ONCE!
Lots of food and conversation and then Garry called the meeting to order.
Allison read the notes from last year as the minutes were not available.
Notes were approved.
Garry talked about the finances.

Ray moved to get rid of the phone service. Allison seconded the motion. Mike
reminded us of the 911 calls that would warn us of fires or emergencies.
Garry will look into the 911 capability only and the cost for that, he will
cancel AT&T.
Laura reminded us that donations are very important. Thank you for
continuing to send them in.
Garry reminded everyone that there is deck stain in the boathouse for the
dock and deck.
The water system Rob Shackleford & his friend put in is great!
Adam Evans will be getting a quote on what it would cost to add on to the
dock, making it larger and retractable. He would like to do the building of
the dock if approved this summer.
Abram & Adam will be taking pictures of the ceiling and getting with K.C. to
come up with a price to fix the ceiling in hopes to eliminate the mice
problem. Discussion regarding how and who and how long took place. The
committee believes a week to take down and rebuild the ceiling. There should
be no other people and no animals or children. Cherish’s husband had offered
the safety equipment (masks & such) last year. They will get ahold of him.
The committee is:
Adam, Abram, Austin, Quincy, Jordan, Cherish’s Husband & K.C.
Quincy brought up the discussion of the old trailer. He wanted to know if we
could get rid of it, as it is full of spiders, mice and really just taking
up space where we could have a new trailer or sleeping area. Discussion
regarding the trailer occurred. Karen made the motion to look into the cost
of a replacement trailer, Allison seconded the motion. There was more
discussion regarding a possible addition to have more sleeping area &
bathrooms.
Karen withdrew her original motion and moved to form a committee to look
into another addition or trailer, Garry seconded the motion, all approved.
Karen will head up the committee.
Sherry moved to put a lock on the outhouse both inside and outside. Laura
seconded the motion. Garry will get the lock and install.
Meeting closed.
The next day while we were all building up the dam, Garry realized that we
had not set a date for the Family Weekend next year.
