seconded.

Garry announced the family members who are on the Board with the original board
of Garry, Laura, Mary and Bill. They are Kathy, Allison, Loni and Jordan.
At the board of directors meeting, which was held earlier, they discussed as
priorities painting the house and deck. No time line was stated however they
want to get this done soon.
Garry said the property was inspected and we have not heard anything so all is
good! Garry and family spent some time raking and pulling up knapweed by the
water. THANK YOU!
The new cabinets, donated by Garry & Sherri, are now in place thanks to Mike and
Ray. They look awesome and really made an improvement in the kitchen.
An outdoor toilet was found by Garry. It needs to be cleaned and painted. The
old one needs to be dealt with and we need to bring in gravel. Ray will be
looking into this and to the cost of the gravel and what all we need to do to
get this done.
The checkbook has $491.78 with phone and electric bill are both $35. Donations
are coming in but not like last year. Garry reminded everyone they may look at
the books anytime.
Discussions:
Laura suggested that we don’t make beds when we leave. Daphne offered to bring
zip locks for the sheets then they clean sheets can be put in zip lock under the
blankets for the next visitor.
Seems we have something possibly larger than a mouse in the cabin, possible in
the “mouse free” room!! What will we be doing about this??????
The issue regarding “no wake” is resolved because ELBOW LAKE IS REALLY A RIVER!
So let’s just wave nicely at the women on the corner
Allison told the wonderful story of the bear in our yard! Exciting and fun but
apparently was quite the nuisance around the lake. Where is the camera when you
need one? Maybe we can cut a picture of a bear into the picture posted on the
website to have a bear in it.
We talked again about the ceiling and the mice! Austin, Adam, Abram and Craig
all volunteered to come up with a plan included pricing to possible fix the
ceiling to help with the mice problem. They will give an update by the board of
directors meeting.
Kathy suggested making the cabin more handicap accessible. This will be
discussed further.
The registration for the boat is in Grandmas room.
A motion by Cherish for the date of next year’s family weekend is August 6-8th.
Kathy second the motion, all approved. Family weekend 2010 will be August 6-8th.
The next Board of Directors meeting will be in April or May 2010.
Garry added that everyone’s work around the cabin is greatly appreciated and not
unnoticed.
Thank you Quincy for fixing the motor on the boat! Any questions regarding the
motor can be directed to him.
Meeting adjourned at unknown time.
Respectfully submitted;
Allison Chesnut
